Basic protection · included
By default a mover's liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article. A 40 lb TV damaged beyond repair would be covered at $24. That's standard in Canada, and we'd rather you know now.
Full replacement value · optional
Repair, replace or pay current value for anything we damage, from $9 per $1,000 of declared value, $250 deductible. Declare high-value items (over $2,000 each) on your inventory.

What does a move cost?
What does a local move in Mississauga cost?
Typical ranges before HST: studio or 1-bedroom $450–$900, 2-bedroom $800–$1,500, 3-bedroom house $1,400–$2,600, 4-bedroom $2,200–$3,800. Stairs, long carries and month-end dates push toward the top.
And long-distance?
Toronto to Ottawa for a 2-bedroom usually runs $2,500–$5,500; to Calgary, $6,000–$11,000. Long-distance is priced by weight and distance, so we do a video survey and give a binding written quote.
Is the estimate binding?
Local flat-rate quotes are fixed as long as the inventory matches. If you add items on the day, we price them before loading. Every quote is in writing.
Are you insured?
Yes: commercial general liability, cargo insurance and WSIB coverage for every mover. Certificates on request for your building.
Why is month-end more expensive?
Most leases turn over on the 1st, so the last week of the month books up weeks ahead. Moving between the 4th and the 24th is usually about 12% cheaper, and you get more choice of times.
Do you take a deposit?
$150 to hold a local date, credited to your bill. Free changes up to 7 days before.
