Tell me the date and the place. I reply within one business day with availability and the full pricing guide.

A short call

Twenty minutes on video. If it feels right, a contract and a 30% retainer hold your date. Nothing is held before that.

Shoot day

A timeline we build together four weeks out, a second shooter on weddings, and a sneak peek within 72 hours.

Private, downloadable and printable. Albums and prints are made in Toronto and arrive about three weeks after you order.

About

Hi, I'm Mara.

I've photographed weddings and families around Toronto since 2014, first as a second shooter and now with my own. I work quietly and mostly from the edges; you'll forget I'm there by the first toast.

Brand work came later, when couples started asking me to shoot their bakeries, studios and restaurants. Same rule: real light, real people, nothing staged that doesn't need to be.

Good to know

How far do you travel?
Anywhere. Travel within 40 km of the Junction is included. Beyond that it's $0.60 per km, round trip, and past about 160 km I add one night's accommodation at cost. The enquiry form shows the figure for your place.
Is a second shooter really included?
Yes, on every wedding collection. On Essentials they cover the ceremony and portraits; on Signature and Heirloom, the whole day.
How do I hold my date?
A signed contract and a 30% retainer. The balance is due 30 days before the day. Until then the date stays open to others, so I'll always tell you honestly if someone else is asking.
Do we get the RAW files?
No. You get every good frame fully edited, in high resolution, with a personal print release so you can print anywhere.
Who owns the photos, and how can we use them?
I keep copyright; you get a personal-use licence for everything. Brand shoots include a one-year licence for web and social, extendable, with print and paid-ad usage quoted separately. I only share your photos in my portfolio with your written permission, and never photos of children without a signed model release.
What happens to our gallery and details?
Galleries are password-protected and kept for 12 months. Your contact details are used only for your booking and handled under PIPEDA; you can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
Are prices before tax?
Yes. All prices are in Canadian dollars plus 13% HST. HST no. 00000 0000 RT0001 (sample).
What if it rains?
We scout a covered plan B during the timeline call. Some of my favourite portraits happened under a borrowed umbrella.
