Assess

A free 45-minute assessment against Ontario curriculum expectations for the grade, so we know exactly which skills are missing.

Plan

A written plan with three goals for the next eight weeks, shared with the student and parent. Tied to the report card, not a workbook.

Teach and practise

Each session: review, teach one skill, practise it until it's automatic, then a two-question exit check.

Report every 4 weeks

A progress report with the exit-check scores, what's next, and one thing to try at home. You can ask to change tutors at any time.

Hourly rates, before you call.

Tutoring is taxable in Ontario, so HST (13%) is added to every invoice. No registration fee. Pay per package or per session.

Is this right for my child?

If your child is below 70% in a subject, avoiding homework, or bored because it's too easy, yes. The assessment will tell you honestly if they don't need us.

What does OCT mean?

OCT stands for Ontario Certified Teacher: a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Teachers. You can check any teacher on the College's public register.

Can we switch tutors?

Any time, at no cost. Fit matters more than credentials, and we'd rather you tell us early.

Why is HST charged?

Private tutoring that isn't part of an approved course of study is taxable in Ontario, so 13% HST is added to our rates.

Do you follow the Ontario curriculum?

Yes. Plans and reports reference the Ontario curriculum expectations for the grade and course, or the IB and AP syllabi where relevant.
